Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the sale of products and services ("Goods") by Northstar Living Pte Ltd ("Seller") through its website nslighting.com.sg ("Website"). By purchasing Goods from the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Orders

1.1. All orders placed through the Website are subject to acceptance by the Seller. The Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any order in its sole discretion.

1.2. Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order, but rather confirms that the Seller has received your order.

1.3. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to the unavailability of Goods, errors in pricing or product information, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

2. Prices and Payment

2.1. All prices listed on the Website are in SGD and are exclusive of applicable taxes, shipping, and handling charges, unless otherwise stated.

2.2. Payment for Goods must be made in full at the time of placing the order. The Seller accepts payment via [Payment Methods Accepted], and all payments are subject to verification and authorization by the issuing bank or payment provider.

3. Shipping and Delivery

3.1. The Seller will make reasonable efforts to fulfill and deliver orders in a timely manner. However, delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

3.2. Risk of loss and title to the Goods pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. The Seller is not responsible for any damage, loss, or delay during transit.

3.3 Shipping charges are as defined on Website

  • Free shipping for orders above $400
  • Flat $30 shipping fee for orders below $400
  • In-store pickup option available for all orders

4. Returns and Exchanges

4.1. The Seller accepts returns of Goods within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined in the Seller's Returns Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

4.2. Refunds for returned Goods will be issued in accordance with the Seller's Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

4.3 Returns / Exchanges are as defined on Website

  • Request for product returns must be done within 14 days after delivery or self collection.
  • Product and packaging must be intact and in good condition.
  • Excluding - Light, fan or switch installations and Built-to-order items.
  • All return/exchanges to be made in-store.
  • $30 Transport fee charge for on-site returns/exchanges requests. 

5. Warranty (1-to-1 In-Store Exchange and On-Site)

5.1. The Seller warrants that the Goods sold through the Website will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 Year from the date of delivery.

5.2. If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, the Buyer may return the defective Goods to the Seller in accordance with the Returns and Exchanges policy outlined in Section 4 of these terms and conditions.

5.3. This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, alterations, or improper installation or maintenance of the Goods.

5.4. The Seller's sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its option, to repair or replace the defective Goods or refund the purchase price paid by the Buyer for the defective Goods.

5.5. To make a warranty claim, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered and provide proof of purchase.

5.6. Warranty and On-Site Servicing as defined on Website

  1. Orders Below $400: 1-to-1 In-Store Exchange Warranty (12 Months)
  2. Orders Above $400: On-Site Warranty (12 Months)
  3. List of products excluded for On-Site Warranty
  • Product installed (Ceiling ≥ 3m) - (In-Store Exchange Warranty Only)
  • Commericial/Industrial Projects (In-Store Exchange Warranty Only)
  • Bulb Types (E27, E14, GU10, G9, G4) - (Replacement to be sent via courier)

*Warranty commences from the date when products have been inspected and handed over to purchasing customer.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on the Website are the property of the Seller or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the sale of Goods, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

8.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of Singapore, with arbitration to take place in Singapore.

9. Amendments

9.1. The Seller reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website.

By continuing to use the Website after any amendments to these terms and conditions, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
